Roe v. Wade was a monumental decision that guaranteed women the fundamental right of reproductive choice. I'll defend that right wholeheartedly in Congress.

 

I also support four policies that will increase access to quality health care and reduce the need for abortions:

 

1. Expand Medicaid immediately. It would decrease the number of abortions by 20% over five years. 

2. Mandate science-based comprehensive sex education in public schools.

3. Make contraception free for young adults fifteen years or older.

4. Expand Medicaid coverage for pregnant women and new mothers to two years and nine months.

 

What's unique about these policies is that both people who are pro-choice and anti-abortion can support them. As a Member of Congress, I will pursue economic and health care policies that reduce the need for abortion.
